While Bastille Festival has long been a July gem lighting up Sydney’s harbourside at The Rocks, Circular Quay, and Customs House with French flair, 2025 brings an exciting twist, expanding to Adelaide’s Festival Plaza! Get ready for double the celebration as this iconic French fest spills its magic into a new city, blending Sydney’s waterfront charm with Adelaide’s vibrant festival heart.
Oui! Well-behaved dogs (and other friendly pets) are welcome at Bastille Festival – just remember to keep them on a leash and bring along poop bags. Let’s keep things chic, not messy!
However, your safety is our top priority. In light of the increased number of dog-related incidents across NSW in recent months, we kindly ask that any dogs listed under the NSW Government’s restricted breeds not be brought to the event for safety precautions.

Oui! Bastille Festival is a free event, open to the public, and fun for all ages. So come along and enjoy the festive vibes. But you might want to bring some euros (or, well, Aussie dollars) if you’re planning to indulge in some délicieux French food, wine, and treats.

Public safety is our number one priority and should adverse weather conditions be experienced there may be restrictions on which areas are operational. We recommend keeping up to date via our Bastille Festival social channels.
Bastille Festival is very popular and attracts large numbers of people. Generally, from 12 PM daily crowd numbers start to increase. Those with young families and strollers should also consider coming to Bastille Festival from morning until early afternoon.
Yes! Bastille Festival free entry areas are wheelchair accessible. However, ticketed experiences are dependent on the location of the ticketed experience. We ask that you contact our customer service team for further information on ticketed experience accessibility.
Bastille Festival staff and attendee are required to follow the local airspace restrictions and local council rules. However, you likely cannot fly your drone at Bastille Festival without special permissions due to controlled airspace , crowd restrictions in both cities, and local council regulations.
