Description

Fabio Salvato is an Italian chef born in Castellammare di Stabia, a town very close to Naples, where French cuisine has always been an influence on the local food. ​His passion and love for food started with his grandmother’s traditional recipes, and continued with the years in London, where his fine dining skills kept improving with Michelin Starred Restaurants such as Avista, Kitchen W8 and Club Gascon. ​ Fabio arrived in Sydney in 2019 and worked for the iconic hatted Restaurants Lumi Dining, Glass Brasserie and Icebergs. He is now head chef of the well known French restaurant “Bistro Rex” Potts Point since 2022.
