Dr. Peter Slezak is Honorary Associate Professor of Philosophy at UNSW, holding a BA from UNSW and a PhD from Columbia University, with research spanning philosophy of science, mind, language, and religion; he published “Spectator in the Cartesian Theater,” wrote a play on Socrates’ trial, created a re-trial of Galileo broadcast by ABC, and contributes to public debates on science, education, religion, and politics.   James Franklin is Honorary Professor at the University of NSW, where he taught mathematics for forty years. He authored books like Corrupting the Youth, The Science of Conjecture, and The Worth of Persons. He won the 2005 Eureka Prize for Research in Ethics and is the editor of the Journal of the Australian Catholic Historical Society.
