1:30pm to 3pm – Grégoire Duché
5pm-6:30pm – Capoeira Topazio
7pm-8pm – Latin Dance Australia –
Dancing is all about discovery, connection and funRunning Latin Dance classes since 1999, we’re a mixed bag of professional dancers and business professionals with one thing in common: a passion for Latin Dance. We wield our skills with the aim to create a positive learning environment that is welcoming to everyone. We draw inspiration from our diversity, and each of us contribute to the fun and friendly environment we nurture in our school.
8:30pm – 9:30pm – Christie Au-camp
Christie is back on the street for a French Free Dance Party. Get ready for a night full of laughs and dancing. It will be the best night of Bastille, maybe even your life.
“I was inspired by the Free Hugs movement. People are estranged from each other due to tech addiction and busy city life, but when there is a busker in the street, strangers pause and have a shared experience together. Often, I wanted to dance to the music and could tell others did too, but I felt awkward.
9:30pm – 10:30pm – Hucky
A french Dj extraordinaire – a master of having the audience leap off their feat and jumping high and on the music drop all shaking around. DJ Hucky entwines deep eurodance, afro, dark, tech and funky tunes into his overall house and disco style – mixing for years in San Francisco, a bit of Las Vegas, then organized events in Marseille – he now calls Sydney home and the Bastille Festival his playground!
