FIRST FLEET PARK – FRENCH FOOD FUSION VILLAGE
This Village was a huge hit at last year’s Festival!
For years now, people have wondered if it’s actually possible to make French food taste even better than it already does? So, we’ve decided to tackle this momentous challenge head on.
To help us find out, we’ve invited a few of Sydney’s most celebrated restaurants and foodie brands, including Masala Kitchen, KOI Dessert Bar, Passiontree Velvet and Mode Kitchen at Four Seasons Hotel (to name drop just a few) to create some unique French food fusion dishes, just for you.
The Head Chefs from each venue have taken their signature dishes and given them a French inspired twist that your taste buds are sure to enjoy.
Here’s just a few of the 30 French Fusion recipes created exclusively for your enjoyment at Bastille Festival Sydney:
- Camembert Arancini (yum!)
- Creamy mushrooms Gnocchi (yes, please!)
- French Burger (cheese!)
- Crème Brulée (mmmmm!)
- Oyster Bar (“oui, s’il vous plait”)
- Macarons (somebody said macaron?)
- …and so many more.
French culinary history and tradition is completely awesome, and so is welcoming other cultures to join in this foodie celebration, by bringing their own unique culinary traditions to the table. We’re excited to taste the outcome!
