THE DRY BLOND
KÖLSCH is a refreshing classic beer from the German city of Cologne, where our head brewer Vince used to study. It is brewed with the finest noble hops, blending their flavours with gentle malt notes and a delicate fruitiness from fermentation. The finish is clean and dry
THE FORGOTTEN HOPS
COMET hops is an old and wild American hops. It was used in lagers for its bold bittering properties but commercial production stopped in the 80s because of its complex flavours judged too intense. However it is now making a come back in this big US Pale Ale!
OLD WORLD, NEW FLAVOURS
OLD WORLD IPA is a unique IPA brewed exclusively with the newest French and German Hops. Flavours of berries, flowers and sauvignon blanc shine through this unique blend of hops. It is particularly smooth due to the use of oats combined with high quality bittering hops.
ASTROLABE Red Biere de Garde
BIERE DE GARDE is a style from Northern France, malty, strong in alcohol and with a lean body to enhance drinkability. Dark red in color it exhibits a toasty maltiness and caramelised flavours of dark stone fruits. This is the kind of beer that would have been drunk in high quantities by the sailors of the famous ship ASTROLABE who arrived in Australia eight days only after the first fleet.
