Casa Di Miele brings authentic Italian Honeybread “Mostazzolli” , Italian Gingerbread “Biscotti” as well as Nut Toffees “Torrone” and Italian Crunchy Nougat (Imported from Italy) on the Latin Village.
Created many hundreds of years ago in Calabria, Southern Italy; this traditional family recipes have been passed down from over 3 generations. It has become a cultural favourite within the Italian communities all over Australia today.
Originally made to share in celebration of local Patron Saints, Italian honeybread; or otherwise known as ‘Mostazzolli” have remained as vital to the rememberance of History, as the Saints themselves! Our family has been baking & selling this unique product in Australia for over 50 years at local “Feste” or Fairs of Italian relation. Today, our product is loved & enjoyed by many cultural backrounds, & we have been invited to share the availability of our product at all different types of Multiculutural Fairs, Markets, etc.
We offer a range of products, all made with one key ingredient….HONEY. All our products are made by hand, with local & organic ingredients, slowly baked at home to get that exact right texture that you have learnt to Love!!! Our products are currently diary free, preservative free & egg free!! They will last in your pantry up to 3 months as a bonus, but if you haven’t had the pleasure of trying our products as yet, take it from us & our many customers….they probably won’t even make it home!!!
