BBR Village



In 2017, the BBR Village is back on Customs House Forecourt and Alfred Street on Circular Quay Foreshore Sydney. The BBR Village is the French Village of the Bastille Festival and the heart of the Event.

BBR ? What does it mean ?

The three letters BBR mean “Bleu Blanc Rouge” in French language which are the three colors of the French flag.

The BBR Village features everything you need for a traditional French experience in the streets of Sydney. You will walk between arrays of glorious French food with 40 selected stalls offering the best of the best of French eats in Australia.

Bite into the best traditional cooked on site fresh French baguettes, taste stinky French cheeses, go for the traditional French charcuterie (saucissons, patés, foie gras, rillettes), try the best winter meal the “Raclette”, a traditional French cheese from the Alps cooked and melted on potatoes, yummy !

Of course no there would  be no French village without a stall of traditional fresh crêpes cooked on site by French “crêpiers” wearing Red Beret from Brittany.

For the sweet tooth, enjoy delicious freshly baked macarons, eclairs, cakes, sophisticated chocolates presented by the best French patisseries in town.

The BBR Village features also a range of French lifestyle vendors from French Tableclothes, French frames and art prints, authentic Laguiole Knives, French Parisian Jewellery, French Baskets, Olive Oil and other delicious gourmet products  from South of France, beautiful French decoration items made by French Designers  to bring back home after the Festival.
